Course Content

Organizations operate in an increasingly competitive, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment. Changes and shifts in the external environment are no longer limited to either specific industries or by geographical boundaries, but both directly or indirectly impact all organizations across the globe. Succeeding in this complex global environment, organizations should respond quickly. This poses challenges for leadership teams and managers. 

This unit will explore the traditional nature and form of organizations, the implications of the role and scope of leadership. A range of contemporary working practices will be considered, examining the risks and benefits associated with these leading ti an understanding of how these can be best deployed.

The training seminar is split in two modules:

Module 1: Modern Management practice and principles 

Module 2: Leadership, communication and people performance


Course details

Objectives:

To present arguments in favor of changing practice 

To draft clearly a statement of value at leadership level

To analyze judgment, communication, values while managing teams

Understand the need of communication and good working relationships

Ability to facility staff development and performance

Ability to use the appropriate methods and media of communicating 

Ability to reflect on current practice, skills and behaviors and the impact of this in a workplace

 

Training methodology

Highly interactive blend of informal lecture, group work discussion, exercises, case studies and videos. Any theory discussed will be grounded immediately in practical day to day work. Learning will be enhanced through active involvement in exercises followed by review. Opportunities for self assessment will be provided and feedback on individual and group performance will be encouraged.

Our courses are open to students of all backgrounds who are 18 years of age and older. All courses are conducted in English.Discussion boards are a critical component of each of our courses; therefore, we suggest students have a conversational knowledge of English when pursuing a Certificate of Completion
